The Comfort Food I Love

On my farm, Iโ€™ll frequently find myself in a situation where the day has flown by, and thereโ€™s no plan for dinner. This is especially true during the summer months when the garden is booming outdoors. But that doesnโ€™t mean I want to compromise when it comes to delicious flavor, and these comfort food recipes are the answer.

These recipes are what I make when my day is busy, or when the weather turns cooler. Or, theyโ€™re the ones I turn to when I just want something that I know everyone at the table will eat (Iโ€™m looking at my niece on this one, who can be a bit of a picky eater). These are dinners that I keep coming back to time and again. Theyโ€™re cozy soups, hearty casseroles, classic roasts, and simple skillet meals that feel like home.

If youโ€™re not sure where to start, pick one section below and choose a recipe that fits your mood. Thereโ€™s no way you can pick a bad one.
